PRIMA appoints Western Regional Sales Manager

    PRIMA North America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of PRIMA INDUSTRIES S.p.A., Torino, Italy, a manufacturer of industrial laser systems, has announced the appointment of Bruce C. Polson to the position of Western Regional Sales Manager in the US for LASERDYNE SYSTEMS.

    In announcing the appointment, Terry L. VanderWert, President of PRIMA North America, stated that Polson will manage all LASERDYNE SYTEMS sales activities throughout the Western US, headquartering in LASERDYNE's Champlin, MN, manufacturing facilities and reporting to Carl Bryant, LASERDYNE's North American sales manager.

(Rock Hill, SC; www.3dsystems.com), a provider of 3-D Printing, Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, has announced the iPro 9000 XL SLA Center for the production of extra-large, high-definition 'Pro Parts' for prototyping and end-use. 3D Systems plans to begin commercial shipments of this system during the 4Q08.
