Ocean Optics to display UV microspectrometer, high-sensitivity spectrometer at Optatec 2014

May 5, 2014
The STS-UV microspectrometer has utility in ultraviolet (UV; 190-650 nm) applications, while the QE Pro high-sensitivity, back-thinned CCD array spectrometer offers 18-bit A/D for monitoring emission spectroscopy.

The STS-UV microspectrometer has utility in ultraviolet (UV; 190-650 nm) applications, including absorbance measurements, point-of-care diagnostics, emission spectroscopy, and laser characterization. Features include a 1024-element detector in a crossed Czerny-Turner optical bench. The microspectrometer integrates into other devices, or can be set up next to a process line for quality control measurements or as part of a lab station. For laboratory experiments, the microspectrometer is compatible with the company's OceanView spectroscopy software.

The QE Pro high-sensitivity, back-thinned CCD array spectrometer offers 18-bit A/D for monitoring emission spectroscopy, especially fluorescence and Raman, where signals may be weak and minimum detectable sample limits are often challenging. A 15,000 spectra onboard buffer maintains data integrity by buffering time-stamped spectra for USB communications, enabling full-spectrum kinetics measurements such as those used in chemical and enzyme kinetics or protein folding, to be performed every 8 ms. The spectrometers are also available with replaceable, precision laser-cut slit and aperture assemblies for SMA 905 and FC connectors.Optatec booth number: B20To Learn More:Contact:Ocean OpticsHeadquarters: Dunedin, FLProduct: STS-UV microspectrometer and QE Pro back-thinned CCD array spectrometerKey Features: STS-UV: 1024-element detector; QE Pro: 15,000 spectra onboard bufferWhat Ocean Optics says: View more information on the STS-UV microspectrometer and QE Pro back-thinned CCD array spectrometer.View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
