Bystronic opens new North American headquarters

Bystronic Inc., a supplier of laser metal cutting systems, will celebrate the grand opening of its new multimillion-dollar North American headquarters from May 3rd-4th, 2012.

Elgin, IL -- Bystronic Inc., a supplier of laser metal cutting systems, will celebrate the grand opening of its new multimillion-dollar North American headquarters from May 3rd-4th, 2012. The facility at 200 Airport Road, Elgin, IL, is a 48,300 square foot building with a 10,000 sq. ft office, a 14,000 sq. ft showroom, and a 24,300 sq. ft spare parts and logistics area.

The company states that the strategic advantages derived from the new headquarters’ Midwest location, and the logistic resources of nearby Chicago, will enable them to better serve their North American markets. In addition to being Bystronic's customer service hub, the facility will also be home to its marketing, sales and training operations. A spacious showroom will be equipped to provide live laser cutting product demonstrations. On-site classrooms will offer hands-on training, and both standard and customized courses for programmers, machine operators, and maintenance personnel.
