Rofin-Sinar opens new subsidiary in India

Plymouth, Mich. and Hamburg, Germany – Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc. has incorporated a subsidiary in India to meet the demands of the growing Indian markets. The new firm, Rofin Baasel Laser India Pvt. Ltd., is located in Mumbai and started operations in October 2011. It takes full responsibility for sales and service of all ROFIN laser products in India.

Plymouth, Mich. and Hamburg, Germany – Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc. has incorporated a subsidiary in India to meet the demands of the growing Indian markets. The new firm, Rofin Baasel Laser India Pvt. Ltd., is located in Mumbai and started operations in October 2011. It takes full responsibility for sales and service of all ROFIN laser products in India.

In order to better reflect the importance of this development opportunity, we have decided to incorporate an independent subsidiary."

With operational headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan, and Hamburg, Germany, Rofin-Sinar designs, develops, engineers, and manufactures laser sources and laser-based system solutions for a wide range of applications. With production facilities in the US, Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Singapore, and China, the company currently has more than 38,000 laser units installed worldwide and serves more than 4000 customers.
