Ocean Optics to demonstrate compact spectral sensor at LASER World of Photonics 2015

June 14, 2015
The Spark spectral sensor detects fluorescent tags and tracers in biomedical applications, point-of-care testing, and medical diagnostics.

The Spark spectral sensor detects fluorescent tags and tracers in biomedical applications, point-of-care testing, and medical diagnostics. Measuring about the same size as a microcontroller, the sensor performs full spectral analysis from 380 to 700 nm. It can be embedded to power next-generation portable and Internet-connected sensing devices for DNA, RNA, protein, and blood oxygenation levels analysis. OEM and stand-alone configurations are available.
