Ocean Optics to exhibit SERS substrates at SPIE BiOS and SPIE Photonics West 2017

Jan. 17, 2017
Gold, silver, and nanosponge gold-silver surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrates let users make fast, repeatable SERS measurements.

Gold, silver, and nanosponge gold-silver surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrates let users make fast, repeatable SERS measurements for the identification and quantification of SERS-active analytes. Using precisely controlled gold nanoparticles, the SERS substrates amplify very weak Raman signals by many orders of magnitude, which is critical for trace level detection of explosives and other samples.
