The PR940G is a threedimensional geometry adjustment system for alignment of cathoderay tubes (CRTs) on the assembly line. A stereoscopic imaging system extracts threedimensional data from within a calibrated space with subpixel accuracy. The highthroughput system includes a controller, two cameras, a 486 PC, an illuminator, a calibration target, and a rigid camera stand. The system has 0.2s adjustment cycle times and can handle multimode and mixedflow production applications.
