LVD Strippit to introduce 10 kW fiber laser cutting machine at FABTECH 2018
The Electra FL 3015 10 kW fiber laser cutting machine provides ultra-high-speed cutting of ferrous and nonferrous materials in plate thicknesses up to 1.25 in. Its welded steel monoframe construction allows it to maintain an acceleration of 2G during cutting without sacrificing part accuracy. The laser can nitrogen-cut 5/16 in. steel three times as fast as a 6 kW fiber laser, and its nozzle technology reduces nitrogen consumption by up to 30%.
