The V-Deck microscopy platform for neuroscience and electrophysiology from Prior Scientific (Fulbourn, Cambridge, England) features a range of height-adjustable, lockable platform posts to image most samples, from thin sections to whole-animal samples. Its large sample area, with a M6 x 25 breadboard, allows heating, cooling, perfusion, and incubation chambers, micromanipulators, stereotaxic instruments, and other equipment to be precisely mounted. Dovetail slides enable the horizontal position of a sample to be simply and rapidly adjusted. The entire platform is compatible with most commercially available vibration isolation tables.
