The PLW20 well plate loader is an advanced robotic system for automatic well plate handling.

The PLW20 well plate loader from Prior Scientific (Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire, England) is an advanced robotic system for automatic well plate handling. Adaptable to most modern inverted microscopes, the loader, together with one of the company's ProScan stages, has utility in high-content-screening applications with a capacity of 20 microplates. With a load cycle of 29 s, the loader enables rapid automated microscopic imaging of large numbers of samples. To safeguard data integrity, its barcode reader ensures that the screening is carried out correctly and that unsuitable compounds do not proceed further in the development and testing cycle.
