The ProZ motorized focus stand from Prior Scientific (Rockland, MA) enables viewing and imaging samples that may be too large or irregularly shaped to be fitted onto a standard microscope frame or stand, but still require high-quality imaging. It features a 250 mm travel range and flexible mounting adapters to mount most zoom, stereo, and compound microscope heads, as well as 0.25 µm encoded resolution. It can securely accommodate components up to 23 kg in weight, and is mountable onto a range of bases or an optical table.
