Horiba Scientific to introduce spectrometer range at SPIE Photonics West 2016

Jan. 27, 2016
The PoliSpectra line of spectrometers feature 2–6 fiber inputs, depending on the model.

The PoliSpectra DUAL and PoliSpectra TWIN spectrometers feature 2–4 fiber inputs for OEM applications that require simultaneous acquisition of 2–4 spectra from various light sources or samples, along with high throughput capability. Each input channel can be fitted with a large diameter SMA fiber optic or custom ferrule. The TWIN’s high light collection configuration is only limited by the selected CCD’s sensor height, which matches the fiber diameter. The DUAL’s spectral range is the visible range, while the TWIN’s range encompasses UV-VIS, VIS and NIR, and can be made available and customized for OEM volume industrial applications. The TETRA and HEXA configurations feature 2 main boards, offer 4–6 SMA fiber inputs, and are customized to accommodate the company's VS7000 or VS2000 optical spectrometer platforms, enabling a broad selection of possible spectral ranges.
