    The PEM-400 PER meter has a wide-area optical detector that captures PER across the entire multifiber connector or fiber array unit without the need for repositioning. With a built-in multichannel polarization-maintaining (PM) source and 30-dB PER dynamic range, it is used for high-volume testing for PM components.
