Designed for fast, accurate, and automated polarization performance testing, the system performs multi-channel polarization extinction ratio measurements while minimizingoperator involvement and measurement time. It is designed to support OEM integration, automated testing, and high-throughput production environments where consistent and repeatable polarization measurements are essential.

The system features two main instruments:

• A Multi-channel source launches well-defined linear polarization states with high extinction ratios into patchcord assemblies, with automated control of individual fiber channels, delivering a stable and reliable polarization reference for testing.
• A polarization measurement instrument utilizes an automated positioning stage to measure the polarization extinction ratio of each individual channel without operator intervention.

The instruments may be used separately or together. A computer with an intuitive Windows based application provides easy system operation, measurement control, and data analysisand reporting. The system can be customized for different connector, ferrule, and arrayconfigurations to suit specific customer requirements, formats, and configurations.
