Kidger Optics has sold two of its software packages for the design of thin-film optical coatings to Thin Film Center Inc.

Kidger Optics (Crowborough, England) has sold two of its software packages for the design of thin-film optical coatings to Thin Film Center Inc. (Tucson, AZ). Thin Film bought all rights to Kidger's Film 2000 and Film Solutions software. The sale came two months after Kidger sold its SIGMA 2100 optical-design-software product line to Focus Software Inc. (Tucson, AZ). Tina Kidger, managing director of the company, sold the product lines and their associated customer databases to ensure that customers would have continuing support, after the death last year of her husband, company founder Michael Kidger.
