The iBeam smart laser adds 515 nm output to its line of compact OEM diode systems. It offers CW and pulsed output up to 250 MHz with a beam quality of M2 <1.2. The circular beam has a typical diameter at 1/e2 of 1 mm with pointing stability <5 μrad/K.

PRESS RELEASE
TOPTICA presents 515nm direct diode technology live at Photonics West
New wavelengths and power levels for OEM diode lasers
TOPTICA presents direct diode technology at 515nm. So far, the green wavelength regime has not been accessible directly with laser diodes. Integrated in TOPTICA’s OEM diode laser iBeam smart, the new
wavelength will be demonstrated live at Photonics West.
Other newly available wavelengths are 395nm (120mW), 420nm (120mW) and 460nm (100mW). Also, high power versions of 445nm (100mW) and 473nm (80mW) are available now.
These new wavelengths will be integrated in the iBeam smart, the new fiber-pigtailed diode laser iBeam smart PT and TOPTICA’s new multi laser engine, the iChrome MLE.
New Wavelengths and output powers (iBeam smart):
- 395nm – 120mW
- 20nm – 120mW
- 460nm – 100mW
- 515nm – up to 50mW
Power Upgrades (iBeam smart):
- 445nm – 100mW
- 473nm – 80mW
- 488nm – 100mW
The iBeam smart-515 will be demonstrated live at BIOS and Photonics West 2011 in San Francisco at the TOPTICA booth #8(8)17
