The OptoTEC MBX Series micro-thermoelectric coolers (micro-TECs) have use in space-constrained optoelectronic applications.

The OptoTEC MBX Series micro-thermoelectric coolers (micro-TECs) have use in space-constrained optoelectronic applications. Designed for integration into TO-can, transmitter optical subassembly (TOSA), and butterfly packages, the smallest model measures 1.5 × 1.1 mm and profiles as thin as 0.65 mm. Heat pumping densities are up to 43 W/cm2 with temperature differentials up to 82°C at an ambient temperature of 50°C.
