Intensified CCD
A high-repetition-rate intensified CCD camera uses an 18-mm second-generation microchannel plate tube. The High Rate Imager (HRI) produces images with an optical impulse gate width that can vary from 300 ps to 1 ms and offers repetition rates from single shot to 110 MHz. The imager is useful for application with sources, such as modelocked lasers or synchrotrons. Applications include fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy, vibrational microscopy, and studies of photon migration through turbid media.
