Zinc selenide (ZnS) windows are suited for single aperture, multispectral military vision and thermal imaging systems from 0.35 to 12 µm.

Manufactured using Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), zinc selenide (ZnS) windows are suited for single aperture, multispectral military vision and thermal imaging systems from 0.35 to 12 µm. Typical tolerances are ±0.001 to ±0.005 in. and thickness to ±0.002 in., offered in plano-concave, plano-convex, meniscus, and flat configurations. Conforming to MIL-PRF-13830, they feature λ/4 and λ/10 surfaces and 10-5 scratch-dig.
