Multi-junction pulsed laser diodes have use in LiDAR safety applications
The 905 Array series multi-junction pulsed laser diodes are available with 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 elements and offer peak power up to 115 W per element. Each element uses three epitaxially integrated emitters that each form 235 × 10-µm active areas. Uses include LiDAR safety applications such as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), laser rangefinding (LRF), and laser safety curtains.
