O-band CW laser module has use in free-space communication links

May 27, 2024
The Model 1693 O-band continuous-wave (CW) laser module is used as a coherent optical source laser.

The Model 1693 O-band continuous-wave (CW) laser module is used as a coherent optical source laser and is DC-coupled with a built-in TEC, thermistor, and monitor photodiode. Using a high-efficiency coupling scheme, it delivers 19 dBm of CW optical power and narrow linewidth characteristics (typically 50 KHz), suited for fiber-optic or free-space communication links.
