Miniature Q-switched laser from Cobolt has uses in portable instrumentation

The Cobolt Tor XS Q-switched laser is designed for use in portable instruments targeting laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) applications. It provides pulse repetition rates >1 kHz, average power up to 50 mW, and pulse lengths <3 ns. With a 50 × 29 × 21.4 mm footprint and <100 g, they are manufactured using proprietary HTCure Technology in a hermetically sealed package.Cobolt
