Fiber diode lasers

The RLD Series diode lasers are designed for short-distance fiber communication links using Fibre Channel and ATM standards. The lasers offer high-frequency relaxation oscillation between 1.8 and 3.5 GH¥for modal noise reduction. The diodes run on a 5-V power source and have lifetimes of more than 100,000 h at 40°C and 3 mW.
