A driver provides continuous high-voltage pulses for applications, including controlled Q-switching of solid-state lasers. The Model 8251 Solid-State Pockels Cell Driver incorporates a miniature internal power supply to generate output voltages as large as 6 kV from the 15-Vdc power input. Output risetimes and falltimes are 15 ns or less.
