LaserNett expands service offerings with fiber laser cutting machine
April 26, 2018
Metal fabricator LaserNett (Mississauga, ON, Canada) has expanded its in-house capabilities with the addition of a Trumpf TruLaser 3030 fiber laser cutting system, which joins its existing Trumpf CO2 laser cutter.
The fiber laser cutter works with a larger variety of raw materials, ranging from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and many others, which will allow the company to participate in new business opportunities and industrial applications.
The system yields faster cutting speeds and increased thicknesses of material to be cut, and can cut a wide range of small- to large-diameter tubes with varying wall thicknesses and lengths.
