Contract sheet metal fabricator Hawkeye Industries (Tupelo, MS) is expanding its business to accommodate increased production demand for the company’s core business technologies, as well as its entrance into the high-volume laser processing for tubing market. The project is a $3 million corporate investment and creates 10 jobs.

The company's metal manufacturing technologies include laser cutting, punching, forming, and welding, and its expansion includes the addition of new equipment and renovations to its existing facility to accommodate the new laser tube processing line.

Building construction began in April 2018 and is now complete. Equipment is being installed and will be ready for initial production startup in early July 2018. The addition of the new jobs will increase employment at the company to approximately 40 workers.
