Syneo expands contract services capabilities, including laser marking

Precision laser tooling and automation services specialist Syneo (West Palm Beach, FL) has expanded its medical device contract services lab in its Angleton, TX facility. Through this expansion, the company has increased the quick-turn material processing capabilities of its contract services division and increased the breadth of material processing services offered, including laser marking, cut-to-length services, hole-making, slitting, tipping, and grinding.

Drawing on designs from the company's standard medical machine and catheter punch platforms, its contract services division can process a wide range of medical-grade materials, including single- or multi-lumen tubing, wire-reinforced tubing, and nitinol wires. The division provides solutions for R&D applications, as well as long-term production support on established catheter-based products.
