The AVIA LX 355-20 Q-switched, diode-pumped solid-state laser delivers 20W at 355nm, a diffraction-limited beam, and an expected lifetime of 20,000 hours.

The AVIA LX 355-20 Q-switched, diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser from Coherent (Santa Clara, CA) delivers 20W (at 50kHz repetition rate) at 355nm, a diffraction-limited (M2 <1.3) beam, and an expected lifetime of 20,000 hours. Applications include cutting, drilling, and marking in microelectronics fabrication and packaging, such as cutting flex material, chip and mold form marking, IC package trimming, and wafer scribing and cutting. The laser's shorter pulse width reduces the heat-affected zone and enables high-precision processing of thinner materials.
