Specialty metals supplier and laser processing services provider United Performance Metals (UPM; Hamilton, OH) will expand its facility in South Windsor, CT, adding 10,000 sq. ft. to the current building to bring its total square footage to 58,000.

The company's FIRSTCUT+ processing services include laser cutting and laser gauge treatment, as well as cut-to-length, leveling, slitting, edging, chamfering and facing, shearing, water jet cutting, plasma cutting, sawing, precision cold saw cutting, precision blanks, first stage machining, heat treating, ultrasonic testing, boring, trepanning, and deburring.
