Cadence acquires laser processing specialist Arcor Laser

Arcor Laser specializes in precision laser welding, machining, marking, and drilling, as well as turnkey systems integration.

Contract manufacturer Cadence (Staunton, VA) has acquired the assets of Arcor Laser Services (Suffield, CT), a provider of laser processing services that include advanced welding, cutting, machining, marking, and microdrilling.

Founded by Gary Francoeur in 2004, Arcor Laser specializes in precision laser welding, machining, marking, and drilling, as well as turnkey systems integration. The company, which consists of two facilities totaling 30,000 sq. ft., is also well versed in integrating laser processes into Swiss machining centers, enabling complex fabrication at a lower cost.
