Stuttgart, Germany -- LASYS 2012 is fast approaching with a comprehensive image of the latest generation of laser material processing. This the third staging of the international trade fair on this topic, takes place from 12-14 June 2012 at the Stuttgart trade fair center. Machines, processes and services, including laser-specific machine subsystems with diverse possibilities of use, will be showcased. At the same time, the visitors can obtain insights into the fast-growing markets such as medical device technology.
A showcase on car and truck interior design, development, and construction, and an international showcase exhibition and conference for vehicle dynamics technologies and components, are being held at the same time as LASYS 2012 on the Stuttgart trade fair grounds. The production of vehicles is an important focus in laser material processing, so staging the events at the same time is an advantage for all involved. O&S, the international trade fair for surface treatments and coatings, rounds off the trade fair events. LASYS 2012 visitors and exhibitors can visit all events free of charge.
Exhibitors also are organizing a "Lasers in Action" forum in Trade Fair Hall 4, a comprehensive and diverse program with over 25 presentations. Using current case studies, keynote speakers will show how laser systems are used in real-life applications such as cutting and welding. On the second trade fair day, there will be a discussion panel on "Laser technology: Solutions for today, tomorrow and beyond," bringing together experts from the laser industry and exhibitors. They will discuss how laser technology is used today in a wide range of industries, such as micromachining, and take a look at the future to exciting applications which laser technology could soon be able to handle.
