Dilas has begun distributing m2k's single-emitter diode lasers. According to Dilas, with its global distribution network, existing customer relationships, and customer-driven approach to sales and service, this collaborative partnership strengthens both companies' market position as one-stop shopping for all diode laser needs.
m2k, acquired by Rofin Sinar in 2007, develops and manufactures semiconductor lasers based on the III-V compounds GaAs and GaSb. Founded in 2001, the company is headquartered in Freiburg, Germany, and is experienced in the field of high-power and high-brightness diode lasers. m2k offers tapered amplifiers for use in external cavity and MOPA systems in wavelengths ranging from 755 nm to 1064 nm providing M2 beam quality as well as diode laser single emitters in broad-area or ridge-wavelength designs within the 1.8 microns up to 2.4 microns wavelength range.
