The P22-C1 and P12-C1 convergent-beam fibers consist of bifurcated plastic fibers that pipe light to the sensing target and a compact convergent sensing head assembly that positions the fibers to mechanically converge the emitted light 3 mm in front of the assembly. The fibers will detect objects as small as 0.2 mm and are unaffected by varying target color or reflectivity.
