Horiba Scientific to showcase microspectrometer, AR multilayer coating technology, and miniature CCD spectrometers at SPIE Photonics West 2014

Jan. 27, 2014
Horiba Scientific will showcase a microspectrometer, antireflective multilayer coating technology, and OEM fiber-optic spectrometers at SPIE Photonics West 2014.

The MicOS microspectrometer combines a microscope head and a triple-gratings imaging spectrometer that can accommodate up to 3 different detectors. The system operates over 200 to 1600 nm, allowing characterization of materials such as semiconductor and biological samples. An embedded digital imaging camera enables real-time viewing of a sample. Applications include photoluminescence, electroluminescence, and photoreflectance measurements at the microscopic level.

The QExtraTechnology antireflective multilayer coating is said to improve quantum efficiency (QE) from ultraviolet (UV) to near-infrared (NIR) while suppressing undesirable etaloning effects in basic back-illuminated, deep-depleted cameras. Applications include luminescence, fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy measurements.

VS-7000 Mini-CCD fiber-optic spectrometers for OEM volumes cover the UV-VIS (200–860 nm), VIS (380–750 nm), and UV-NIR (200–1050 nm) wavelength regions. They record 770 spectra/s in industrial low-light applications such as fluorescence, emission, absorbance, and reflectance.SPIE Photonics West booth number: 5000 and 5001To Learn More:Contact: Horiba ScientificHeadquarters: Edison, NJProduct: MicOS microspectrometer, QExtraTechnology antireflective multilayer coating, and VS-7000 Mini-CCD spectrometersKey Features: MicOS microspectrometer: 200–1600 nm operation; QExtraTechnology antireflective multilayer coating: Improved QE from UV to NIR; VS-7000 Mini-CCD spectrometers: 770 spectra/s recording abilityWhat Horiba Scientific says: View more information on the MicOS microspectrometer, QExtraTechnology AR multilayer coating, and VS-7000 Mini-CCD spectrometers.View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
