Karlsruhe, Germany--The DFG-Center for Functional Nanostructures (CFN) Summer School at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology will be holding two summer school courses in nanophotonics and nanoenergy—two main areas of research there—on September 10–13 and 14–17, respectively.

Although the CFN Summer School was originally established to address advanced graduate students and postdocs, senior scientists wishing to broaden their knowledge in nanoenergy and nanophotonics are welcome to attend. To further scientific exchange and discussion, each participant is expected to present a poster describing his/her scientific background, research interests, or current research project.
