    The MOPO-HF optical parametric oscillator offers narrow linewidths over the device`s scanning range, typically less than 0.07 cm-1, which is comparable to the linewidths of pulsed dye-laser systems. Applications include study of combustion processes, atmospheric chemistry, and other types of gas-phase spectroscopy. The laser, with a single set of optics, can tune over more than 440 to 690 nm, with pulse energies of more than 75 mJ.
