Wavelength combiner

Sept. 1, 1995
A wavelength combiner can be used for a variety of test equipment or can be used as a wavelength-division multiplexer or as other active coupler configurations. Dichroic mirrors are used to transmit or reflect given wavelengths with crosstalk losses of 5% and absorption of more than 99% for unwanted wavelengths. When used as a wavelength combiner, the user can specify connectorized or pigtailed versions for a wide range of wavelength, bandwidth, launch power, connector type, and fiber size requ
