The 8800 family of fiber-optic test links encompasses OM3 and OM4 versions, at all specified lengths, of the 802.3xx Ethernet Standard’s 40GBASE, 100GBASE, 200GBASE, 400GBASE, and proposed 800GBASE variants. Bidirectional and unidirectional versions come in rack-mount or bench-top configurations. OM3 and OM4 fiber are independently characterized for optical attenuation, modal bandwidth, and chromatic dispersion.
