The PCA 40 high voltage capacitor charger converts an AC input into a regulated high voltage DC output for charging energy storage capacitors. It was developed for use in the pumping units of flashlamp pumped solid state laser systems for medicine. With a maximum output power of 4000 W, it is ideally suited for high power laser platforms such as long pulse Nd:YAG, long pulse Alexandrite, and 40–80 W Ho:YAG systems. The module also supports parallel operation for increased power capability. |
