Shanghai/Baden-Baden, 3 February 2026 – technotrans is further expanding its global presence in laser technology: the thermal management specialist will be exhibiting for the first time at Laser World of Photonics in Shanghai. The focus of the trade fair appearance at the VDMA stand will be on cooling solutions specifically tailored to the high requirements of the Asian high-tech industry in the sectors of medical technology, analytics and semiconductor manufacturing. With the new PRO300 in-rack cooler series, based on natural refrigerants, the company is also providing an answer to the growing demand in China for “Green Photonics” and eco-efficient production processes.

Responding to industry trends: sustainability meets precision

A central theme of this year’s trade fair is the combination of technological excellence with ecological responsibility. technotrans addresses this development with the new PRO300 in-rack cooler. The unit covers a performance range from 170 to 4,200 watts and uses the natural refrigerant R290. Through efficient control with speed regulation of all motors, the system responds highly dynamically to load changes, which ensures constant temperature stability, particularly for pulsed laser applications. At the same time, the cooler meets all current industry standards for digital connectivity. 

“As a European manufacturer, we have a strong focus on eco-efficiency,” explains Kröger. “This includes not only energy-efficient operation and the use of natural refrigerants, but also the product design itself: our focus on durability, repairability and full recyclability reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO) for system operators.”

A key success factor for the Asian market is proximity to the customer.
