The position detector development kit contains two lead selenide (PbSe) detectors for IR signal detection and location. The detectors are designed to enable the triangulation of the location of IR signals within a wide field of view. Applications include pinpointing the location of indoor/outdoor fires, hotspots, or muzzle flashes up to 100 m away.
