Oct. 30, 2013
The MPA Info+ multiphoton absorbers (MPA) database from Simphotek enables MPA users to access relevant data and therefore select the best MPA for their requirements.

The MPA Info+ multiphoton absorbers (MPA) database from Simphotek (Newark, NJ) enables MPA users working in biomedical imaging, stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy, photodynamic therapy (PDT), confocal microscopy, medical investigation, and other photonics applications to access relevant data and therefore select the best MPA for their requirements. The database includes over 1,000 MPA materials and lists them along with systematic names, structural formulae, over 20,000 relevant photo-physical parameters such as absorption and emission spectra, energy level diagrams, quantum yields, wavelength dependencies, and extinction coefficients. It is available as a standalone product or as an add-on to the company's SimphoSOFT simulation tools.
