According to the 2014 ASDS Consumer Survey on Cosmetic Dermatologic Procedures, 45 percent of consumers are starting to count ultrasound, laser, light, and radiofrequency treatments for skin tightening or wrinkles as one of the top cosmetic procedures they're considering.

"Pulses from the PicoSure laser can actually lead to new collagen and elastic production when focused through special lens arrays," notes Dr. Robert Weiss of Maryland Laser Skin & Vein Institute. "An additional benefit is that pigmentation of the skin is also greatly improved, which typically is not achieved by injectables such as toxins or dermal fillers alone," he adds.

New results from PicoSure clinical studies show a dramatic improvement in pigment and wrinkles: Patient satisfaction at the first- and fourth-month follow-up visits were 84 and 92 percent, respectively.
