The BioPhase imaging device from PhaseView (Palaiseau, France) provides simultaneous acquisition of intensity and phase data at ultra-high resolution for qualitative cell imaging and quantitative measurements. Time lapse monitoring of 3D cell morphology can be performed without contrast agents with related photo toxicity or specialized optics for free space manipulation. Cells can remain in situ in their growth medium using standard incubation flasks, Petri dishes or multi well plates. Its camera is compatible with any optical microscope equipped with a video port and standard bright field objectives. It also acquires fluorescence, confocal or TIRF images using the same objective.
