The BeamSquared laser beam quality (M2) measurement system is based on the company's patented Ultracal baseline correction algorithm.
The BeamSquared laser beam quality (M2) measurement system is based on the company's patented Ultracal baseline correction algorithm that helped establish the ISO 11146-3 standard for beam measurement accuracy. The system measures the propagation characteristics of continuous-wave (CW) and pulsed lasers, from UV to near-IR to telecom wavelengths in automated mode in <1 min. Manual mode is available for CO2 lasers and wavelengths greater than near-IR, including terahertz. Measurements include waist diameters, full angle divergence, waist locations, Rayleigh lengths, M2 or K and BPP factors, astigmatism, and asymmetry.
