Electro Optical Components to display compact digital UV sensor at SPIE Photonics West 2017

A compact digital UV sensor from Genicom made from gallium nitride (GaN) measures UV only, blocking visible light. With 16 bit resolution and programmable gain, the sensor is housed in a 2.0 × 2.3 mm SMD COB package for use in cell phones, wearable devices, watches, weather stations, cycle navigation gaming accessories, and Internet of Things (IoT) products.
