Aurea Technology single-photon counting module for NIR wavelengths

Nov. 1, 2011
The SPD_B is a single-photon counting module for NIR wavelengths.
The SPD_B is a single-photon counting module for NIR wavelengths. It includes a Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiode and thermoelectric coolers for detection efficiency up to 30%, a dark count rate <5.10-6 per ns gate, and timing jitter <180 ps. A GUI compatible with LabVIEW and C++ is included. Applications include fluorescence lifetime, photoluminescence, spectroscopy, and time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) applications.Aurea Technology

The SPD_B is an ultra-low-noise, high quantum efficiency and low timing jitter near infrared single photon counter. The SPD_B includes a Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiode and thermoelectric coolers that ensure high detection efficiency up to 30%, a very low dark count rate < 5.10-6 per ns gate, and a low timing jitter < 180ps. The SPD_B is a complete “all-in-one” single photon counter. It comes with its easy-to-use and ergonomic Graphical User Interface compatible with LabView and C++. In the short near infrared range, the SPD_B single photon counter from AUREA Technology is the most valuable choice for fluorescence lifetime, photoluminescence, spectroscopy and Time Correlated Single Photon Counting. About AUREA Technology AUREA Technology provides superior optical instruments, such as NIR single photon counters, that enable scientists and engineers to achieve outstanding results and remain at the cutting edge of their field.
