Aurea Technology single-photon counting module for NIR wavelengths

Nov. 1, 2011
The SPD_B is a single-photon counting module for NIR wavelengths.
The SPD_B is a single-photon counting module for NIR wavelengths. It includes a Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiode and thermoelectric coolers for detection efficiency up to 30%, a dark count rate <5.10-6 per ns gate, and timing jitter <180 ps. A GUI compatible with LabVIEW and C++ is included. Applications include fluorescence lifetime, photoluminescence, spectroscopy, and time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) applications.Aurea Technology

The SPD_B is an ultra-low-noise, high quantum efficiency and low timing jitter near infrared single photon counter. The SPD_B includes a Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiode and thermoelectric coolers that ensure high detection efficiency up to 30%, a very low dark count rate < 5.10-6 per ns gate, and a low timing jitter < 180ps. The SPD_B is a complete “all-in-one” single photon counter. It comes with its easy-to-use and ergonomic Graphical User Interface compatible with LabView and C++. In the short near infrared range, the SPD_B single photon counter from AUREA Technology is the most valuable choice for fluorescence lifetime, photoluminescence, spectroscopy and Time Correlated Single Photon Counting.
