Go Green and Stay Green: PD-LD Introduces the Highly Stable LML-530-GB Green Laser for Advanced Spectroscopic and Analytical Instrumentation

Pennington, N.J. – PD-LD Inc. (“PD-LD or the “Company”), the worldwide leader in Volume-Bragg Grating® (VBG®) technology today announces the new stabilized 530nm single-mode laser module, LML-530-GB, as the newest product in their extensive portfolio of laser diodes for spectroscopic, biomedical and process control systems.

The LML-530-GB laser is a turnkey, easy to integrate, supercharged OEM module with fully integrated drive electronics, software controls and temperature compensation. The revolutionary unit is coupled to polarization maintaining single mode fiber and delivers up to 50mW of green power at a very precise 530nm. The LML-530-GB’s energy efficient design consumes less than 10W.

"It's rare to have all this green," said Uri Abrams, President of PD-LD. "Green is one of those I'm very excited to have with PD-LD's culture."

The company has already booked many pre-production orders for the OEM version of the LML-530-GB. The turn key laser will also be available in the LabSource™ platform in Q2, same as its Prism Award Winner sister LS-2 model.

"I'm proud and thrilled to get green with the PD-LD team, the pioneer and driving force behind VBG stabilized laser sources," said Bob Struthers, Executive VP of Business Development at PD-LD. "I'm looking forward to being part of defining the future of Raman Excitation Sources and VBG Stabilized industrial lasers systems”

Combined with the many other lasers available from PD-LD; 647nm, 780nm, 785nm, 830nm and many more, the new LML-530-GB laser adds the first, affordable and readily available Green solution to Raman system designs.
