McPherson DUV spectrophotometer performs absorbance measurements from 120 to 215 nm

June 25, 2015
The VUVAS spectrophotometer uses ultraviolet-sensitive CCD detectors for fast data acquisition.

The VUVAS spectrophotometer uses ultraviolet-sensitive CCD detectors for fast data acquisition. For absorbance measurements from 120 to 215 nm, for example, users can collect the entire range with better than 0.5 nm spectral resolution in milliseconds. It works with commercial cryostats or sample cells with magnesium fluoride or other UV-transmitting crystalline windows.
