If you are interested in advanced technologies and have a background in science journalism with a science or engineering degree we would like to hear from you. A senior position is available on our editorial staff. In addition to coordinating and writing news about lasers and optoelectronics technologies and their applications for an industry-leading magazine and Web site, the position also involves soliciting and editing contributed manuscripts and travel to industry conferences. For more information, send your resume with cover letter referencing this opening and writing samples to [email protected].

    CORRECTION

Due to an editing error, last month’s Newsbreak, “Holographic lithography enables complicated 3-D photonic crystals,” (February, p. 11; see www.laserfocusworld.com/articles/318536) contained the incorrect name for the research center. The research was done at the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies at Zhongshan University (Guangzhou, China). Laser Focus World regrets the error.
